Sun - Special Interest Group for Medical Applications
It is proposed to hold a two day meeting for Sun users and prospective
users in medical application areas. This is to be a European event. The
meeting is scheduled for September 6 & 7 in London UK.
Organization is jointly by the London Sun Medical User Group and Sun-UK
with involvement from Sun UKUG.
It is hoped to attract participants from a wide range of medical
applications. There will be presentations from Sun and providers of
medically relevent application software. There will also be presentations
from hospital and accademic Sun users with details of applications
developed and under development. There will be a commercial exhibition for
manufacturers with products that are specifically relevant to the medical
community.
Hopefully, the meeting itself will be free, overnight accomodation in
university halls will be available at low (for London) rates.
We are trying to gauge levels of interest rapidly. It would be helpful if
anyone interested in attending or presenting could let me know
immediately. Also if you have contacts who may be interested or can copy
this message onto other distribution lists I would be most grateful if you
could pass it on.
