[comp.sys.sun] SUN VME vs. standard VME

gemed.tlt@uwm.edu (Terry Travis x548-5153>) (02/22/90)

I understand that there is a difference between standard VME modules and
SUN VME modules both physically and electrically. Can someone fill me in?

Well for starters, the Sun VME is 9u high, while STANDARD VME is 6u. Not only
that, but the Sun cards are deeper too. All in all, Sun cards are about twice
as big area-wise as standard VME.
