[net.unix-wizards] Lisps? Fortune? or Onyx?

From: Michael A. Bloom <MCB@mit-mc>

I'm looking for a Lisp for the Fortune 68K computer. Is anyone aware
of one existing? Has anyone ported Franz Lisp to the fortune?

Also, has anyone ported ANY Lisp to the Onyx C8002 running system III ?

I'll be grateful for any leads.

I have ported a small lisp originally written for the PDP-11 at MIT to
the Onyx. It works reasonably well, considering the size of the address
space (I fixed the garbage collector to collect everything, even atoms
and strings.) There is a reasonable library of functions, mostly written
in Lisp. There's no compiler, but since the whole thing is written in C,
hacking in your own favorite routines isn't too hard.

It's too big to send over the net, but send me a message and we can
negotiate.

If you find a good lisp for the Fortune 32:16, please let us know.
