[comp.sys.sun] problem with commmand window

Have a question about scrolling back the command window: Sometimes when i
am looking back at what has scrolled off the window and i start to type,
the window automaticly moves back to the current screen and other times i
must do it manually. What am i doing wrong? BTW os is 4.0.2.
