[comp.sys.sun] Using a Sun as a PC network server

Does anyone have any experience, or thoughts about using a Sun as a
network server for either Novell's Netware or 3Com's 3+?  We have a
customer that would like to use some of the cheaper accounting systems
that run on the PC networks but would still like to have a Unix box for
future expansion.
