It is not necessary to completely undo the C2 secure setup to run FrameMaker under 4.0.3. The rc.local script is set up to start ypbind with the -s option if /etc/security/passwd.adjunct exists. The -s option to ypbind allows it to use only servers running on registered ports. So to use FrameMaker with C2 security in place just fix the rc.local file so it does not start ypbind with the -s option. Note: we are running SunOS 4.0.3 so I cannot say whether or not this will work under 4.1. Richard Watterson rlw@cs.purdue.edu
