We moved from North Carolina to New Jersey and at the time I turned the machine off for the last time, it had been up 45 days without a reboot and the file system was still clean. I would anticipate that the later vintages of UNIX were at least capable of performing that well. The reason we let it run that long was that every time DEC took it for PM, it took us at least half a day to get it on-line again.
