Is this a bug? I cannot get a SparcSLC running SunOS 4.1 to resolve names for telnet. I have the correct /etc/resolv.conf and ran ldconfig. I added the default router and started in.routed. Also, nslookup knows the domain name server and works correctly Every thing works fine on the patched version on SunOS 4.0.3. Does anyone know whats going on?

In 4.0.3 this required adding the -b flag to makedbm in the makefile in the YP directory. Morry Katz katz@cs.stanford.edu
