I am having problems printing large files (greater that .5 Mb) remotely from one SPARC to another SPARC (small files go fine). The printcap entries are as follows: (source) test|TEST|Variable Test Printer:\ :lp=/dev/null:\ :sd=/var/spool/lpd/test:\ :rm=wsec-lpr.unl.edu:\ :rp=test:\ :sh=:\ :mx#0:\ :lf=/var/log/lplog: (destination) test|TEST| Variable Test Printer:\ :lp=/dev/null:\ :sd=/usr2/spool/lpd/test:\ :of=/usr2/spool/lpd/test/of:\ :sh=:\ :mx#0:\ :lf=/var/log/lplog: When I do do an lpq on the source, the response back is: queuing is enabled printing is enabled 1 entry in spool area no space on remote; waiting for queue to drain However, there is pleanty of space left on the disk & I can print the file directly on the destination just not remotely. Does anybody have any suggestions for me to try? Nancy Khawand University of Nebraska - Lincoln (402) 472-5663
