This is urgent and for a friend of mine who cannot access the net. His problem is that, he would like to know of a utility or a method to recover files whose directory nodes have been corrupted. After doing a fsck, the lost+found dir was cleared, but he his certain that the files are exsisting in the underlying directory. Infact he managed to find out that the track containing the directory information has been corrupted. There installation uses SunOS 4.0.3. All urgent mails will be appreciated. Thanks aditya@cs.uh.edu
