I have an animation program running under SunView (SunOS 4.0.3) that works by using notify_set_itimer_func() to request that a rendering routing be called at some specified interval. Occasionally, the display freezes up. CPU utilization is low, so I'm assuming that timer events have stop occurring. Moving the mouse or typing a character gets everything going again.
