Can someone who speaks to MCP boards help me figure out my problem. Sun in usual fashion has not answered my question. I have recently installed an MCP board in my Sparcstation 370 to run Sunlink INR at 19.2 kbs. I am getting a message on the console: mcph2 error: input packet too big What does this mean? P.S. Is Sun out there listening. Particularly anyone who sells to the Federal government. I have one message for you. "I'll be damned if I ever order or recommend another piece of Sun equipment for the rest of my Air Force career unless I can get some better service." Everyone knows how bad the acquisition process can be (It can be worse for the end user than the taxpayer who hears the horror stories). Quite often my equipment is purchsed in Washington and passes through 2 or 3 different agencies before it ever gets to me. Consequently I never see the paperwork for the equipment much less get to keep it for reference later. Sun will not even talk to me with out the Sun order number. DEC is right across the street from my building, they are always extremely helpful whenever I have a question. IBM and HP are also very interested in selling to us. So sun might want to reconsider thier service policy. Lt. Dave Grootwassink USAF Tactical Air Warfare Center INTERNET: GROOTWASS@TAWC1.EGLIN.AF.MIL (129.61.5.1)
