[comp.sys.sun] communication programs for sun4 to vax?

We are currently trying to dial out from a Sun 4 onto a Vax 8800.  Both
TIP and CU are working somewhat but we would like to have a a
full-featured communications program that has a script language.  Are
there any GNU software or reasonably priced packages out there?
