On a sun sytem running 4.0.3, how can one find the offset into the kernal where the inode table or streams table exist so I could use kvm_read() to get each entry of the table. It is easy to get the user and process table since there are alreadyt existing library calls to get these tables but none exist for the other tables. When I looked at the nl structure (symbol table entry), I find no reference to these other tables. I know pstat can produce that table and adb can also reference that table but I can't see a way from inside a program I appreciate your assistance in this matter. Sean Coleman NIST coleman@bldrdoc.gov
