We have a Maxtor XT8000X that we are trying to connect to a Sun 3/50. The drive has a number of jumpers that have been changed from the factory settings. There has been some mention on problems with getting this drive to work with a Sun (Sunspots?). Even if we get the drive jumpered correctly we will have the problems of getting it formatted and gettin Unix to recognize it. Has anyone had any luck getting this drive to work with a Sun?
