[comp.sys.sun] Getting a 3/50 to recognize a Seagate Wren 660MB

After finally getting the strange DB50-->Centrnoics 50 cable necessary
to hook up a Seagate (CDC/IMPRIMIS) 660MB wren drive to a 3/50,
when booting the 3/50 off of a GENERIC kernel (with support for scsi
devices), the Sun does not report that it found the drive on the bus.
However, when the Sun boots, the drive light flashes on and off for
a brief period.  format says that it can't find any drives.  I've
tried different values for the drive selects, but to no avail.  Does
anyone have any suggestions?
