I am trying to run SLIP over a modem from Sun 4's OS 4.0.3. I have tip with SLIP support that I got off the net, but I need to know how to set up the /etc/remote file and the login script. I am trying to get SLIP working over US Robotics HST modems under Sun OS 4.0.3. I have a version of tip with slip support but I am having trouble with tip crashing and with setting up the /etc/remote and login script files. The documentation I have is not very clear.
