[comp.sys.sun] Sun 3/60 too noisy

We have a sun 3/60 I would like to move onto my desk, but unfortunately it
is too noisy for the other people in the office to tolerate.  The noise
comes both from the fan in the processor and the floor standing unit with
the disk drive and tape. Are there any suggestions on how to reduce the
noise, for example would it be possible to stand the processor unit on its
side behind the desk without the thing cooking.

Any suggestions would be appreciated (buy a sparc station is not practical
at the moment).
