I have a user who is having a problem with a Sun 4/60 (SunOS 4.0.3c) with the GX Graphics Accelerator Option (19" Colour display). The problem appears to be that one or two of the colours in the colour table is replaced by a "sickly green" when colour rasterfiles are displayed. This occurs both in and outside of Sunview, and the easiest way to witness the problem is to run /usr/demo/show /usr/demo/COLORPIX/colorimage.1 We see the ugly green colour inside the blue sphere. The problem is particularly noticable when we view GIF files with any of the Sun GIF viewers that are kicking around the net. It is often around the edges of objects in the images. The boot-time log shows that the cgsix frame buffer is being recognized: vmunix: cgsix0 at SBus slot 2 0x0 pri 7 Has anyone else seen or heard of this problem?
