Are there any known bugs that would cause inetd or telnetd to refuse incoming telnet sessions under SunOS 4.0.3? One of our machines seems to be rejecting incoming connections in an apparently random fashion and someone I talked to mentioned that they thought they had heard about a bug that Could be responsible. I'm not convinced that's the solution but it would be nice to know if there is such a bug and get a patch for it (if one exists) so I can at least rule it out as a possibility. If you know of such a bug (and especially if you know of a patch for it) please email me and let me know what can be done about it. Feel free to post all the follow-ups to this that you want but be forewarned that they won't be doing me any good because I don't read comp.sys.sun.
