We are in the process of designing a new system for the processing and storage of satellite generated sea level information. We are currently using 2.5 GBYTE 8MM SCSI tape drives for the offline storage of our data. However, we have been disappointed with the performance (they are slow) and reliability of these units. I looking for an alternate. Does anyone have any suggestions? If the response warrants, I will summerize. Thanks in advance, Bernie E_MAIL kilonsky@hokulea.soest.hawaii.edu FAX (808) 956-2352 TELE (808) 956-6574
