I am interested in corresponding with anyone who has installed any FDDI implementation on sun3 or sun4 machines. (Am particularly interested in 4/400 series machines.) I need to collect performance data from other installations that shows what kind of rates are achievable between Sun machines (NOT between, say, Sun and Cray, as in the recent NCSA report) that have a single ring between them (no routers, don't want to compare those). I need to compare your data to what we've observed here (two 4/470s connected back-to-back). This info will be posted back to sun-spots and sun-managers. Please e-mail me if you can help.
