[comp.sys.sun] Author of sst extant?

Does anyone know where I might find the author of the sampled sound
utility package, sst, nowadays?  He's listed as:

>     jef@well.sf.ca.us
>     {ucbvax, lll-crg, sun!pacbell, apple, hplabs}!well!jef

in the README, but this address has been a black hole.  I am attempting to
find out if he has updated the package to be 4.1 compatible (or if it has
been done for him by somebody).  Thanks muchly in advance.
