First of all, thanks to all for the ksh answers. The legal thing to do is contact ATT for a licensed release for two or three thousand dollars. The cheap and legal thing to do is wait for Sun to come out with a supported ksh in the future. Now, what I want to do is this: Exclude one host of all our boxes from automounting a certain pile of file systems that all other hosts can do. Netgroups doesn't help because you can include hosts, but not exclude them. SO, we got 200 hosts or something and I have to type in 199 hosts to let them get the files, and keep the one host from getting them. I don't think so. So, if you *can* set up netgroups to exclude a certain host, I would love to hear how. If there is some other kludgy way (even altering the host I don't want the files on), let me know. The only thing I could think of is shutting off the automounter on the host, but that makes it a pain in the patootie having all the NFS sluttage going on. Email is good. It makes for less flames. I can summarize later. Thankee booter@Autodesk.COM
