Are you still having trouble getting your microlaser to work on your Sun? I have one connected to serial port a of a 4/330 running 4.1 OS and transcript 2.1. The printer is set up to run postscript and my printcap entry looks like this: 0|lp|lw|ps|postscript|PostScript:\ :lp=/dev/lw:sd=/usr/spool/lw:\ :lf=/usr/spool/lw/lw-log:af=/usr/adm/lw.acct:\ :br#9600:rw:fc#0000374:fs#0000003:xc#0:xs#0040040:mx#0:sf:sb:\ :if=/usr/tran/sparc/lib/psif:\ :of=/usr/tran/sparc/lib/psof:gf=/usr/tran/sparc/lib/psgf:\ :nf=/usr/tran/sparc/lib/psnf:tf=/usr/tran/sparc/lib/pstf:\ :rf=/usr/tran/sparc/lib/psrf:vf=/usr/tran/sparc/lib/psvf:\ :cf=/usr/tran/sparc/lib/pscf:df=/usr/tran/sparc/lib/psdf: The printer itself should be set to ps and TI-net, then set to rs242, with baud rate at what you wish, and parity set to none, stop bits set to one, and start bits set to 8. I think that is everything you will need. Regards, Lee Fedor System Administrator fedor@dsg.csc.ti.com
