I am having a problem with 1/4" tape drive that is on our Sun 4/260 server. The problem started when I was trying to tar a directory - in the middle of the procedure I aborted via Ctrl-C. Since then I have not been able to tar or untar or even see the directory of the stuff on the tape. It gives me Read/Write error. I would really appreciate if any netter can help me.
