A while back I remember seeing a message or two about how to burn out a shoebox power supply by powering the termination resistors. Could someone please repost or send directly to me? Also - is there a difference between Sun 3 and SS1 shoeboxes? Joe McGuckin oilean!joe@sgi.com Island Software joe@parcplace.com (415) 969-5453

If you hook a 3/60 up to a box that drives that pin you will blow the power supply. As far as I know that is the only model that has this "feature". AnDataCo has cables that are missing that pin.
