[comp.sys.sun] dump to rst0 very slow

I have a Sun3/140 running SUNOS 4.0.3. The problem is that a dump is very
slow. Compared with some other SUN's the dump takes a lot of time more.
The streamer is working the whole time in start/stop mode.

How can I get a faster dump?
