Is there some trick in setting up NFS to get Apollos to talk to Suns? I am looking at: /etc/fstab, mount, umount, exportfs, /etc/exports. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Harvey Iwamoto iwamoto@nosc.mil

You must check NFS is installed on you system.Check your /install/baseline/* to see if those two lines are contained. Release ri.apollo.nfs.v.2.1 disk version Release ri.apollo.patch_m0186.v.1.0 disk version On systems SR10.x there are three (3) daemons that have to run (check you /etc/rc): PORTMAP MOUNTD NFSD An example of /etc/exports which should be linked to 'node_data/etc/exports could be : # Export file for the DOMAIN/NFS file system /usr/local/bin you can export all the disk just entering // # domain root accessable to all clients On the SUN just do as if you where importing a NFS from any other machine.
