Sun 4/360 SunOS 4.1.1 OpenWindows Version 2 OpenWindows keeps crashing on me (that's another problem/posting). I can restart it but the colormap is usually screwed up. The clear_colormap command will NOT fix the colormap sooo... The only way I have found to reset the colormap is to reboot the machine. Acckkkk!!! Pbbbtttt! Some other people here verified this saying they had to COLD boot to reset the colormap. This is a pretty "unusual" feature. Does anyone know of a cleaner method for resetting the colormap.
