[comp.sys.sun] StP

kcables@relay.nswc.navy.mil (05/10/91)

Please forgive me if I'm posting this to the wrong newsgroup. This is my
first post. I have a few questions about StP (Software through Pictures).
I have a 386i, SunOS version 4.0.2, and the 4.0 Sunview version of StP.

First question: in the DFE window, how can you renumber the process
nodes? I've had situations where I create several processes, then I want
to delete some of them and renumber the rest. The counter increments as
if all the ones that I have inserted exist. You can clear, but that gets
rid of everything.

Second question: My User Manual says that the ToolInfo variable
"unique_flows" defaults to 1, which is supposed to prevent repetition of
input and output flows in process specs. The ToolInfo file has it
defaulted to 1, but when I created the example in the DFE User Manual and
created the process spec, the duplicate flows were listed. I changed it
to "uniqu_flows 0", and it did the same thing.

Any suggestions or comments? Thanks in advance.

Since there may be other StP users out there...
