I have been having the following problems with the Berkeley 4.1 tape driver, mt.c, which results in not being able to open the tape (TU78). After a Rewind: mu0 hard error bn0 er=4034 ds=162200 (rdy, pres, onl, bot, avail) mt: unit 0 random interrupt At the next attempted use of the tape drive: cannot open tape Or, after loading a tape with a write ring: mu0 hard error bn0 er=4034 ds=16400 (rdy, pres, onl, bot, avail) mt: unit 0 random interrupt mu0: no write ring I have tried resetting the TU78 (by turning off the drive and hitting the reset button) but this does not work. The only solution so far has been to reboot. Does anyone have the fixes for these bugs? If so, please send mail to: Susan Shaw allegra!sls

Does anybody out there have a driver (4.XBSD) for the ABLE VMZ/LP printer interface. This beast is the line printer part (option) of a DMZ32. 4.1c supports the DMZ as a tty multiplexor, but not as a LP interface. Replies directly to me, please. Thanks in advance and all that... clyde@utexas-11 clyde@utexas-780 ..ihnp4!ut-ngp!clyde ..ihnp4!ut-sally!clyde
