Has anybody out there got an Andataco Exabyte-style 8mm tape drive working successfully with their 4/470 Sparcserver? Ours refuses to work with our 4/470, but likes the 370 sitting right next to it fine. When we hook it up to the 470, all the status lights go out, as if its suffering from improper termination, but I know this isn't true, since it works fine with the 370, and I installed the internal terminators myself. We've tried this with 2 units now and I'm beginning to think its an incompatibility between the 470 and the tape unit. I'd like to hear from anybody out there who successfully has an Andataco model ADT 280A 8mm drive working on their 470 as to how you have it configured and any problems you encountered.
