In "Known Problems with SunOS Release 4.1.1", it states that add_services can fail if partition changes are made after then install. It goes on to say that the disk_info.* configuration files are text files and that "the name/values pairs are fairly self-explanatory". One of the fields is the 'size' field, which doesn't seem to be self-explanatory at all. In particular, for an Emulex Controller and 327M drive, the 'size' field seems to be about equal to the (integer part of the) number of blocks divided by 1954 [I determined this experimentally], except this doesn't work for the first partition. What exactly is the 'size' field, and how is it related to the other fields in the partition configuration? --
