Hi, I'm new to the SUN/Unix world...I have a problem that is frustrating for me, but may be easy for you gurus out there to solve!!! I have a SUN Sparc 2 with 64Mb of memory (189Mb swap). When I try to run a particular program the computer says "Not enough memory". Performing a "size" on the executable returned the following summary: text data bss total bytes 385024 106496 417279992 417771512 (407Mb) The program does not make any mallocs so this is it. What do I have to do to get this program to run? Do I need to tweek something in the kernal? Do I need to add more memory? If so, how much and how do I determine how much? What should I do??? My call to SUN has yet to be answered. Please email or post your responses. Thanks in advance! Alan W. Johnson --- ajohnson@unix.sri.com Research Engineer SRI International
