Sorry, if these questions have already been asked: 1. Does anyone have experience with the long term storage of the 8mm tape cartridges? Do they hold up as well as the 1/2" tapes? Is there any "bleed"? 2. Maybe I should be asking a home electronics buff about this ... Hi, Someone has written an 8mm tape on a VAX(running VMS) with the following command: mount/for .... copy myfiles ... How do you read it on a Sun?(dd command? not possible?) Thanks fabrice fabrice@yosemite.atmos.ucla.edu
