[comp.sys.sun] Hitachi External disk drives and SunOS 4.1.1

We have an SS1 with a 700MB Hitachi External disk drive which works OK(ish)
with SunOS 4.1, but won't work at all on SunOS 4.1.1. Does anyone know anything
about these problems?
