Our local DEC office claims there is no information for purchase about
programming UDA-50 controllers. I'm going to try and use a dual-ported
RA-80 from two systems, simultaneously. Does anyone possess information
on how to accomplish this (or has someone already accomplished this)?
Our config: VAX 750's running 4.1BSD.

It turns out that while the UDA documentation is listed in the current documentation catalog, if you try and order it they will tell you it is unavailable. Turns out DEC has decided that making the documentation publically available would aid competitors trying to produce look-alikes, so they have removed it from circulation. We were able to get a copy by showing a demonstrated need, and after signing elaborate non-disclosure agreements. This was done through the aid of our local office. You should try to see if your local office can provide similar assistance. -------
