I am really sorry about the duplicates, I'm sure all of you have read several times over several submissions. There is little I can do about this in a short time, but I am looking into possible solutions. 1) A database of all submissions in recent history. Each submission will be compared against the database to insure that they are not duplicates. This will probably take me about 3 months to do. 2) A quick hack to my software to prevent *ANY* submissions that have "!"'s in their addresses. This would prevent anyone from USENET from submitting to TELECOM. This is far more likely to happen than #1. If you are a USENET poster, I appeal to you to bang on the appropriate people and Insist that they track this bug down. Don't let a bunch of power hungry systems programmers prevent you from being able to submit to TELECOM. If you are an Internet poster, please forgive the duplicates, and give us time to work out a reasonable solution. Incidentally, I flamed at the postmaster of the site that was the largest offender, and was told to politely screw. They found out what the problem was, but to my knowledge they have not fixed it, nor do I think they intend to fix it. If this is the case, then #2 will definitely come to pass.
