Another mystery: I have been repeatedly barraged by AT&T to get me to sign up for their Reach Out America rate. This rate, neglecting their sign-up fee, is much higher than the normal rate for long distance calls at the night/weekend bracket except in the most extreme cases. Are they trying to hoodwink the unwary, or am I missing something? Jerry Black

My reaserch shows the Reachout-America plan to be cost effective if a) you are calling people more than 925 miles away, and b) you are using at least 1 hour a month. -Mike Grant
