Also, recalling from when I was last there, 0800 is like 800 here in the US. If you think the phone company here is obnoxious, you haven't had the experience of dealing with British Telecom. For instance, it has taken relatives of mine in N. Ireland upwards of 6 months just to get a phone installed. How's that for service...
