The I-CNIS feature extends the concepts of Calling Number Delivery and Calling Number Delivery Blocking to ISDN lines. I-CNIS also allows the customer to specify which Directory Number (DN) should be used for each outgoing call and provides network screening to ensure that the specified DN is valid. I-CNIS handles calling number processing for both circuit-mode and packet-mode ISDN calls and provides four component features: Number Provision, Number Screening, Number Privacy, and Number Delivery. Material on Privacy Change by the calling party and Privacy Override by the called party is also included."
