What about this discrepancy? I called the Bellcore number and got PAXTANG for 717-564, but when I asked AT&T operator (by using 00 on an AT&T phone) what the place name for 717-564 was, I got Harrisburg. I do know Paxtang to be part of the Harrisburg (Pa.) area, but what databases are involved?

I know nothing. I got the number from a hacker BBS a couple of years ago, and the source was a random scan of the Bellcore exchange. Sorry. Lang
