I think it would be useful if someone could compile a list of terms and initials that are frequently used in the digest. It could then be left on cs.bu.edu for anonymous ftp and would be especially useful for new readers (and some of us that get confused every now and then :-). I am willing to compile it if pushed, but I think someone in the States would be better suited as most of the terms apply to the US and the list could be compiled quicker as email wouldn't have to hop across the Atlantic all the time.
