Regular TELECOM Digest readers may be interested in alt.fax, a newsgroup dealing specifically with fax machines. I don't know who started it or where to pick it up, if your system doesn't already receive it. Another newsgroup in the alt.* hierarchy is alt.cosuard, where the long-running battle between Texas sysops and Southwestern Bell over which BBSes should be charged business rates is discussed.
