A week or so ago, I asked for help getting the ringer on a 500 set to work right again. I knew I would get the help I needed on this list, but didn't expect I would actually get an annotated schematic diagram sent to me in the paper mail! That is exactly what I got in this morning's mail from Robert Sklar (ihlp1!sklar). I was going to send him a thank you by private email, but figured he deserved a more public accolade. Thanks, Robert! [Moderator's Note: Mr. Sklar does receive our thanks for coming forth with an answer to the question, but he is not unique on this net: Time and again, a question is asked, and many answers received. It is what I call the 'Spirit of Usenet' in action: a User-Network of people helping people. And as the feds and the newspapers are starting to find out, it is indeed a powerful communications tool.
