WRT the note that you can't call anywhere collect from the Netherlands, AT&T's International Information people say that you can indeed call collect from the Netherlands via USA Direct. The directory says that the extra costs are Dfl 5.00 for a collect call, as well as for person-to-person and credit card calls.
