We need a PC or Mac based DBMS to manage our cable plant documentation. Wheaton College is over 130 years old and has developed an extremely diverse and complex telephone wiring system over the years. We are in the process of organizing the plant and want to carefully document our work. Before we invest in the hardware, we would appreciate recommendations regarding software. Our technician is not a computer expert and, therefore, a Mac might be preferable. On the other hand we want a comprehensive application and realize the IBM world may have more to offer.
