The Donnelly Yellow Pages have run a television ad featuring a young corporate goon for some local carrier reporting to his master about the ubiquity of the Donnelly yellow pages. The steel-ball manipulating master looks pained and grumbles, "We've got a problem." My question is, what portion of local-carrier revenues come from yellow-page listings? My hunch is that they account for very little, and the local carriers couldn't care less if Donnelly or anyone else controlled the listing market.
