I just heard that there was a major fiber cut in Newark, New Jersey. 24 T3's were cut, according to the phone company. The circuits affected terminated in or passed through New York City. My wife's company lost two circuits (they had just switched all of the rest of their circuits to another supplier, otherwise they would have been totally off the air). I have no other details.
